It has been my most sincere pleasure to work for and with such a great staffing agency The Plus Group Inc, my recruiter Justin Vilaga, And of course all my managers, past and present, and to each and every one of my friends and co-workers here at AT&T. Unfortunately, at this time it has been decided after careful thought and consideration by my spouse and me, that the need for a 'more' secure form of employment with benefits is required at this time. The main shift in thought regarding this decision is one that I must now give full focus to. I am, in nine months time, going to be a father. With such a great endeavor now presenting itself to us (me and my wife), we have a necessity to ever venture forward toward a path of employment within my career aspect. It is therefore with great sadness that I must terminate my contractual obligation at this time. At the close of business today, 02/03/2009, I will cease to be employed, circuitously with AT&T. I wanted to send this letter to say thank you, as an employee of The Plus Group for the past two years I have always encountered wonderful experiences. When I first went to The Plus Group I was a little worried about signing up with a staffing firm not knowing what is was about, but they quickly calmed my nerves through their compassion and expertise, they listened to what I wanted as an employee.
I was placed immediately at some great places on temporary assignment all the while the staff at The Plus Group insured me that they would find me a permanent position they stayed in contact with me and told me to be patient because they wanted to find the right fit for me not just a job but a home. I am currently in a position that they chose and told me that it would be the perfect fit and would benefit not only me but my family. Now that I have transitioned to a regular employee at FrontRange Solutions, I wanted to send a brief note about my experience working with you and Kelly at The Plus Group.
Simple and direct, The Plus Group stands at the top of the industry.
My past experiences with agencies have been very limited as far as me being the person being placed – and to be honest, other offices were more interested in filling a requisition rather than determining if there was a match in skill set. As an employer looking for assistance from an agency, my requests were met with the overly eager, “sure, we can fill that role for you” setting interviews with applicants barely meeting the qualifications requested that led to frustration and wasted time for me.
And then I was introduced to Kelly Kramer and The Plus Group. The professionalism projected in my first telephone interview set her (and your office) apart from the pack. Kelly asked about what I was looking for first, to be sure that the position was as much a match for me as I might be for it. Further discussions led to my starting an undefined duration assignment that resulted in a regular fulltime position.
A few things that I believe set your organization apart from others: effective interviews and skills test (specifically for me, Excel) to confirm qualifications and experience; a true “new hire orientation” that included reviewing an employee handbook and safety video – just like a “real” job; prompt, accurate set-up of my direct deposit with the first check; a timecard process that was easy – no original hard copy to the office required; regular, periodic contact with me to ensure my expectations were being met. Patrick, we’ve spoken before about the demeanor of your group – nothing but expert, professional conduct from everyone – no hard sell, only a positive approach, I believe, to all sides – the client, the employee and the colleagues at your office.
I’m going to repeat myself here – professional, positive, eager but not aggressive, knowledgeable, broad network of clients, a true A-player organization – these all apply to The Plus Group.

Hello Patrick and Rik,
My name is Ricarla Varela and I recently have been working with Scott Tomtania. I wanted to send you both an email letting you know what a wonderful help he has been and what a pleasure it has been working with him.
Within days of speaking with Scott for the first time, he set me up with an interview at Genentech. Scott provided me with excellent advise in terms of how to conduct myself during the interview and he paid a lot of attention to my resume helping me tailor it to be more professional.
One day after the interview I received a call from Scott being informed that I was going to be placed with Genentech. Not only was I pleased with the job assignment, I was pleased with Scott's hard work and communication regarding the position.
When I came into the offices on Wednesday to meet with Scott, I was met with a warm and friendly person whom it felt I had known forever. I have never had such a wonderful experience with an agency such as yours and I have already recommended Scott to several of my friends that are looking for work.
I just wanted to let you know what an amazing employee you have on your hands. You don't come across people as helpful as Scott very often.
